Pacifica surf

Conditions were so bad today they cancelled our boat ride out to Mavericks, with 32 mostly photographers on board. So I drove around the Bay looking for surfers and couldn't find a one, just surf like this at the Pacifica pier.

Makes you wonder why, looks like the waves were about high enough to surf!

it's all about what happens beneath those waves that makes it so dangerous. I'm hoping there's another trip, but they put them together in a day or so; it happens quickly
