I won't say what that brings to mind...
But it has to do with why an old friends wife once said, "Tell him he's a dirty old man."

Great shots Jim! I was up too late to get up too early.
(I almost missed my school run this morning. )

This just happened 20 minutes ago.
It will peak out the other side in about an hour. I hope to see that as well.

Wow, my arms would get tired holding up my camera for an hour and 20 minutes.

I'll be looking forward to the exit wounds. Do you think there will be scattered moon dust?

I got your moon dust and I bet YOU scatter.

One hour has passed and I have about 30-40 minutes before it shows on the other side. Its pretty well centered on the moon from my location. Score!!
It just emerged at 11:20 Mountain and I got the shot. I want to process it to see if I can pull some edge so I will post it later.
Muhahahahah

Thanks Craig but I won't take all of the credit.
One of the sites posted a schedule that included Albuquerque that listed the start and finish times for me.
I just had to point and shoot a few minutes early.
The exit was sometime during about a 50 second window that I hit pretty close to.

Well done! I couldn't even find the moon in the scattered cloud. I'm envious.

The company next door's rent a cop slowed down and looked at me like I was a bit odd. Does that count?
I was leaning against a street light post for stability shooting up at a hard to find thin moon. I guess he may have looked and wondered what I was shooting but he didn't ask. I would have shared.
I didn't realize that you can see Venus during the day. I assumed our dear friend Sol would flat out over power it.
8-) 8-)

Thank you Straight Shooter.
We have had high thin clouds in and out today but not around the moon.
I want to run these through Lightroom tonight and see if I can clean them up a bit more.
Thank you again.

He was probably lookin for ducks.
Or a really tall woman in a mini skirt.
It doesn't take a brain surgeon to be a security guard. ;)
I wasn't going to mention about you being odd....
But hey.

Venus is sure bright. So I would suppose if it is Westward, and the Sun is Eastward, it ought to be seeable.
But then, I look at it like this:

From what I understand, you can see it all day (when it's 'up' of course!), but you have to know *exactly* where to look. I imagine that this would be a perfect job for one of those computerized telescope thingies...
