Thanks! Actually shot these with the DF -- still working on the process & lighting. Was a while ago!
Film as a look that with all the advances in technology is impossible to replicate. Not even the best digital filters can adequately duplicate it. I was 6 y/o when these were taken...I may look at my family album to see if I can dig something! How years go by...damn.
While a newbie here, I've been photographing for over 50 years;
It's usually not to difficult to spot old film photos that have been 'scanned' for posting although I must admit that DSLR settings and post processing can make that difficult.
I also don't bother much with post processing - I try to set the camera right to begin with to get the effects I want and go for it - DSLRs are very flexible in that regard - I can get more effects out of a DSLR than I ever could out of film and a darkroom.
Maybe 1 out of 1000 is good enough for me to enlarge to put a framed on the wall - and those are usually scenics for me.

Excellent set Quixdraw.
Thanks! Pulled out a few cartons of old slide trays. Picked some that looked like they would reproduce reasonably. I haven't got my process to where I want it in terms of results, but getting closer. I think with the right light it will be acceptable!
