Yukon scenery, the Canadian part of Alaska.
Not as famous as Alaska but in some spots just as beautiful. About the last image, this is the true color of the lake, different colored silt deposits in the ice age created the emerald color

Please educate me on how there can be a "Canadian part of Alaska"! Last time I checked Alaska is a state in the United States of America, not part of Canada.

Where ever it is, they are great pictures...
Gorgeous shots Mike, nice work!
great, great pictures... Ahhhhhhhhhh
Gorgeous shots, Mike, and amazing scenery. Don't know about anyone else here, but I grew up with Sergeant Preston and Yukon King. Knew about the Yukon before I knew about Alaska!
Great shots, I like them.
All great pic but 3 is my fav. Thanks for sharing.
Blacks2 was being facetious when he referred to the Yukon as Canada's part of Alaska. The Yukon Territory is part of Canada and always has been.
Just in case some aren't aware, it was in the Yukon in 1896 where gold was discovered that led to the great goldrush of 1889 near Dawson City.
The silt in the bottom of Emerald Lake is known as "Marl, a calcium carbonate material mixed with clay. This deposit is left over from when the glaciers covered the Carcross/Bennett Lake valley.
Some beautiful pictures there, Blacks. Thank you.
Four beautiful shots; #3 is spectacular.!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you misunderstood, the Yukon Territory is a part of Canada it is only similar to Alaska by it's beauty but not political.
