for today I have close ups, not macro pictures. First a Pine Siskin feeding at our thistle seed feeder just outside our living room window. We have many of these lovely little siskins visiting daily. and second and third closeups of those fluffy catkins found on willows at this time of year; Pussy Willows

GREAT photos! Wow, that cinnamon roll or honey bun has me craving one sooo bad! Just like Georgiann's photos of her donuts! I ended up with Caroline's sick sister today as well so my day will include very little photography. The following two pictures were taken April 2nd and were posted last week on Rivernan's 'Saw Something Red.'
The first blooming of our roses at Church. They are gorgeous this year~

Here's my try at a plum tree blossom. The wind picked-up and things got to moving too much so I moved on.
105mm macro lens, 1/60, f22, ISO 400 and a soft box on the flash
