A drop is going down........down..........down........AND!!!!!!

I start taken photos of drops going down, using Cl and Ch settings in my Nikon D7100 and and a Nikon speedlight flash. It was fun :D :mrgreen: :thumbup:

It's a great series. I'm curious though, is it possible to increase the Shutter Speed? 1/60th of a second for the last image seems a little slow.

And if I may, can you explain your setup? I'm assuming you're on a tripod, but how did you prefocus, and where did you set your light? S-

The speed of 1\60 is because I had the flash set to TLL and is was on top of the camera and the camera was in P. It was hand held. I was in manual focus, focusing in the faucet

The 4th one and the last one are spot on! The focus slipped a bit on the one between them, which is a shame, as that was the 'main event'. Does the camera only sync at that speed? Canons can go up to 1/250th, which would have worked wonders on the last one.

I have been intrigued by this kind of shot for a long time. Maybe something to try out during the long, cold months ahead...
