A great article Hondo, and really makes one stop and think.

Yes it does. If only these kids were into a different kind of history to start with.
Schroeder: Do you have brothers and sisters?
LaDue: Yes, I have a sister. Shes one year older than me.

I'm inclined to say that most of us would be clueless that this kind of stuff is going through this kids head. It's difficult for me to wrap my head around it. That and most of the sociological analysis that it throughout the article.
I mean what happens here? Kids just tooling along through life and snaps then decides to be the next Columbine? Chilling!
