Parliament has v**ed in favour of bombing Syria. Don't get me wrong, ISIS needs to be sorted out. But this is a knee jerk reaction. What is the exit strategy here? At what point do we say "job done"? How do we know who are ISIS and who are innocent civilians caught up in it? These people do not wear uniforms. If we could get all ISIS sympathisers to gather into one big group, isolated from all other people, that would be great. But I really don't see them agreeing to it.

Remember the movement back in the "60's to "get the US out of the UN" ?

See you don't have slightest idea of what to do. Just k**l them all. Remember a happy Muslim is a dead Muslim and it is our responsibility to help them to their happy hunting ground.

"If you are not with us then you are against us". Not all Muslims want to fight for their country, for their freedom or for their religion. They are the do nothings living in either fear or ISIS sympathizers. Either run or turn and fight, which ever, separate from ISIS and let the bombing began.

EXIT strategy ?
how about the same strategy we used to END the war with Japan ?
So far they k**led more people and caused more damage ( WORLD Trade center etc.)than the Japs did in Perl Harbor .
If they want a HOLY war with us , lets oblige them.

Willhelm, the strategy is to fight it there, and not on your streets.

This whole issue of terrorism, in the name of their god, is something new... surviving or winning, gaining territory ( though this "state" is something new) or even the reason for the very first war, resources, isn't primary on their exit strategy- dying well and changing the way we live is...

I See your country is going to outlaw pointy knives. or perhaps it is just being talked about. What will be next? Screw drivers? Sharpened pencils? Sticks whittled to a point? There are cities you may not feel safe in walking on the street, Parts of Birmingham... we have that too, but not because of religious "borders" we have racial and economic one's- same danger though. In fact black people who don't belong in those sections won't go there and I quote from a black friend" They'll cut me as quick as you- if they think anybody has something they want".

Anyways, disarming the public and leaving us and you sheep in an ever increasing wolf packs, will not work. Why we resist it so here. Why all these events are at soft targets...

It is a difficult issue. Going to take a lot wh**ever.. to fix it.

Doesn't the US STILL have air bases in GB and throughout Europe? That was from WWII, a war that ended 70 years ago. We can debate all day long whether or not the US and coalition should have gone to war against Iraq. What should be obvious is that our presence was a requirement to keep the region stable for much much longer.

We will not be losing anything by telling the UN to vaporize.
However, we do need our former allies (Israel and Ukraine) that Obummer has been dangling on a stick in front of Putin and Iran.

My anger runs deep toward this lawless regime. I just don't know what it will take to regain control of the beast that now controls us.

These fools who are saying to k**l all Muslims are delusional. Yesterday, the leader of the Republican party, Donald Trump, suggested k*****g all members of ISIL and their families. The US, and I hope England, isn't like that, we don't want to k**l innocent civilians like Russia. This is the reason we have ISIL, they h**e the west, especially the US. We went into Iraq carpet bombing, k*****g innocents. Haven't we learned anything???

for Homer it's beer, for the US it's guns...

best case scenario: Russia|NATO chill out and gang up to defeat ISIL/ISIS/IS/Daesch/caliph**e

worse case scenario: WWIII
