Does anybody know the shelf life of typical prints on photo book papers? Is it comparable to prints on quality photo papers? I suppose I could query the vendors but thought I'd ask here first. Thanks.
Try searching for 'Wilhelm Imaging Research' for tests of permanence.
Acid free photo papers last 100 years or more in dark storage.
Using pigmented inks preserves more color, longer than does dye-based ink.
I don't think a photo book printed electronically with toner (Indigo, NexPress, etc.) is going to be considered 'archivally permanent' by anyone.
