Have any of you had experience with ON1? I am totally inexperienced with photo enhancement and wish to find a reasonably priced product of decent quality. I see this is on sale for $79.. I would appreciate any advice you are willing to offer re this and similar products.
Thanks!

I've used On1 in its various iterations for the past 3 years. It is definitely well worth the money, and Photo 10 is the best version yet as it can be used as a direct PhotoShop plugin. It is especially adept at bringing out fine details and colors.
Thanks! I appreciate your replying so quickly. It helps to hear from someone who has had actual experience with a product before making a purchase.

Ditto to Bob's comments. Great software and great company. Lots of help with videos, etc. Have been using OnOne for 3-4 years.
I don't use anything else but On1. Love it!
On1 is great. I've been using since 7.0 and now have On1 10. At $79.95 it's a no brainer, IMO. Their instructional videos are excellent as well. Matt Kloskowski is now with On1 and his videos are wonderful.
Just a question, guys, because I honestly don't know. What does ON1 do that Lightroom CC doesn't do?
It has layers feature that is easy use compared to PhotoShop which is not in LR. Also the Effects feature is great to make photos sharp with a WOW factor. Lightroom is the start of the process for lens correction and white balance and then the enhancements come from ON1

What is the difference between the two they advertise. One is $79.00 and the other is $149.00....Rich

I second this --- I've been using it for about five years now and love it, it works great and it integrates well with Lightroom and Photoshop, too!
On1 is a great addition to your workflow, it integrates with LR and PS, make sure you get the Photo10 the latest version. You have the ability to use their effects or create your own, also it enables brushes, the smart brush is quite amazing, it also provides a layers panel that is a bit more intuitive than PS however in my opinion not as effective. It is generally part of my workflow from LR to Photo10 to PS and back to LR. Another you can look at is Topaz, more expensive however does provide a lot of flexibility, really good deal this week.

On1 is the only program I use now. Tried PS & LR but I have a life outside photography and the learning curve was not worth my time.
My results with On1 exceeded my expectations ( and I'm picking but not obsessed ).
The On1 customer support and easily available videos sfromhould be the industry standard. Receiving a solid response within 24 hours is the norm.
Hope this helps.

Thanks to all of you for taking the time to guide a neophyte. I really do appreciate your comments.

Just bought the On1 deal for $79.00 yesterday. I have played around with it a little on a couple of photos and found it very intuitive and easy to use. From what little I have seen so far, it looks like it was definitely worth the price. The limited number of effects and presets I messed around with were really quite nice.
