Hi, I have read on various web chat/blogs that there have been focussing issues between Tamron and Canon 7D (Mk1), has anyone experienced similar problems, especially when using Al Servo mode. Thanks in advance.

There were issues that have been resolved via firmware updates from Tamron. There are still lenses out there that have not been updated so a used purchase could have the issue. A new lens will have the update.

On "Shooter's" note-if you go to the Tamron website and look for service notifications, you can find out if the lens in question is in the serial number range requiring the firmware update. I sent mine in and it made a noticeable difference in the focus speed, and accurracy
