My caption is ... "Wow, this Christmas stuff they keep talking about is pretty cool!"

Wide aperture, high ISO and a bit of fill flash.

You need to get rid of the red eye in the kid. It is real creepy when you supersize the download. Lol.

I saw that, but refused to believe it was red eye. I have not seen red eye since I have been buying decent equipment. I wrote it off as some red Christmas light reflecting in his eyes.

Nope. It's red eye. It still makes me laugh. I hope you don't mind. It is an easy fix, you already know that. But then again, if it were my picture, I am not so sure I would fix it. I am weird that way.

Yes, I am the same kind of weird. I will leave it for a conversation piece to see who will notice. Actually, thanks to your post I looked into the scientific definition of red eye. Interesting.

In addition to the "Red eye" I would be tempted to adjust the colour balance and warm the image up a little. The skin looks a little bluish.
(Maybe it's a very cold December day. lol).

You have to hit download for the true colors. UH compression.

Yes, I did that that before commenting. Also, my monitor is calibrated.

Yep, I looked at the RGB values and you are right. The baby is a bit pale naturally.

This is better (maybe a tad too much yellow) I suggest backing the yellow off slightly and increasing the red ever so slightly in the highlights and mid tones.
I see you have taken care of the eyes also.
