Well - if you want to know the truth, and If I recall who you are and your earlier post, and if you want to know the truth - oh; I guess I already went over that..... all three of these lack focus / sharpness at the very least which is not a plus, unless it was intentional - if which case you did a nice job. On the otherhand I'm not real sharp either. I am some what curious why you used such a long zoom to take pictures of flowers, unless that is what you have, period.

totally agree about the lack of sharpness... the wind was blowing so in some ways i was hoping to depict the movement.. guess i failed.. i have three lenses but unfortunately a macro isn't one of them..yet... so i was "playing " with my 55-300... getting the feel of it.

thank you so much for your opinion. i really appreciate that you took the time to look at my pics. :)

You can get pretty sharp with the 55-300.

Here is my suggestion: download MTNMN's photo and study what he did. This is textbook great flower photo.

The lighting, the sharpness, the arrangement/composition, the background...this is a good shot and one worth emulating.

Don't feel like I'm dumping on you...my flower shots don't rise to this level either.

I like these three

They are very artistic

Keep at it

I am not a very good photographer myself but I keep trying and love being inspired by other's work

I think if you are trying to show motion you would be better off backing off a bit and have something stationary in focus with the flowers blurred by the wind.
