Please rip this apart, I am thinking about it as a gift.......should I just get something from Amazon instead?

How picky do ya want me to be Frank?
I assume this is your granddaughter so a gift of this framed from grandpa is going to be treasured as it is.
For perfection cos its close take the jpeg back onto Camera Raw ie Open as> Camera Raw in drop down box and adjust highlights and Whites sliders down to get some detail and tone down the bright area on her right. Then when open in PS dodge under her eyes to rid her off the black eyed look and shade at the top of her forehead.
Her right eye is in perfect sharp focus the left one slightly soft. It will selectively sharpen quite easily to match the other.
Nice big print well framed and who the hell needs Amazon?

Contrasty isn't always the most flattering for portraits. At the very least try to make her cheeks etc less blotchy (negative Clarity might do the trick), and if poss, do even more to drop the highlights and lift the shadows. Her face still looks like it's in pronounced shadow. If global adjustments aren't going to do it, get busy with the Adjustments brush (or some equivalent).

Her face was a pronounced shadow as you can see from the sun angle R.G. I understand exactly your constructive criticism on shadow and contrast. I believe they can be addressed and will give it considerable thought. Thank you very much for taking time to give me comment.
