thanks for sharing, it's a trip down memory lane for me
thanks for the replies, hope you enjoyed your time there Vera.
I love the Lake District but never got to see it covered in snow
Just missed out on the snow Vera by a couple of weeks. We are up in the Lakes at the moment visiting both daughters.Today we move on to our eldest daughters house and she lives nearer the hilly and mountainous parts. There could be a chance of snow,if there is i'll get some shots for you.
Nice scenery shots angler, Lake District beautiful place indeed. #1 :)
I spent many days in the 1950's exploring the lower end of Windermere. The Lakeland Canoe club had its HQ at Fell Foot and my uncle had a cabin cruiser on the other side of the lake. Was there last Fall when on vacation visiting my brother. Wonderful memories - many thanks for the photos.

Not been out this year so far Kev but hoping to get a week or so up at Garstang near Lancaster, lovely place for caravanning and to take the camera.I hoped to get more shots iin the Lakes but due to a couple of the Grandchildren being off colour and off school we both had to babysit. Glad you liked the pics.
We went to Glastonbury over Easter. Bit of a significant trip for us as Barb had just started chemo when we went last year. and now she appears to be through it. The Lakes are very nice though - when it's not raining.
Seen on the journey
