Thanks Steve, I don't want to use Photo , I use Organiser in Adobe PSE. Photo duplicates any photo I add and sorts them by date. I like to keep topic folders. To avoid doubling up I will try your suggestion..Thanks for the help.

Nice! I find the photos app in windows 10 is a memory hog and runs so slowly, doesn't allow you to organize as you'd like etc. etc. Good riddance! Will be dumping this turd off soon

Yes, I don't like it neither, it uses up double space in my drive whenever down loading my picture from my camera.

It wasn't put there for us. It was put there for my neighbor who takes snapshots with a P&S of her children and their picnic.
It is, like almost all of the Windows 10 apps, easy to either simply disable or remove. Google how to remove it and you should have no trouble.
