What's even more amazing, is that how many dictatorships started by consfiscating gun from the citizenry. How soon we forget that the purpose o the constitution is to protect the people FROM government.

Why do gun right advocates only see black and white. There definitely is a middle ground between no restrictions on guns and not allowing guns. This needs worked out between all parties involved. It will be a shame if the NRA doesn't have a seat at the table but if they refuse to participate in a discussion they are likely not to have input on implementation.

I think it should start by enforcing the laws we have and see how that works out.
