Spotted Sandpiper waking up

This bird was spotted shortly after sunrise at a small freshwater lagoon in Baja California Sur. Very peaceful setting for both bird and photographer. Shot with Canon 70D, 400 mm prime, 1/1600 sec, 400 iso, f 5.6 with fill flash. Even early in morning bird was not bothered by flash as I took 15 pictures. Note the reflections in the crystal clear water. In the first shot if you zoom it markedly, the bird's reflection is better focused than the bird.
