My wife is a radiology tech with past experience in CAT scans. She told me that it is a scan looking for calcification of the coronary arteries, but she can't recall what the scores indicate. She suggested that you Google "Calcium Scan scores". Hope that this helps.

Thank you. I have googled. Haven't seen my doctor yet, but on the surface, my score is disturbing. Thanks again.

Thanks for the link. I have googled too--enough to be concerned. My number is very high, scary high. Needless to say, I am anxious to see my cardiologist next week.

If your Cardiologist has the numbers, he'd have started you on something if he / she were worried. Lots of available meds -- best of luck!
