Herend is famous for its fishnet finish. It's very distinctive....... their subjects are usually animals, fish and birds ( this one is titled "Lying Cat" ). What I liked about this particular feline was its very natural pose. My wife tells me when the cats "squint" at her, they're blessing her with their "I love you" look.

Cute figurine, and a nice shot of it, Bob. I myself have a lying cat--make that several lying cats--here at home. Martian heads the list, forever lying about whether he's been fed.

Thanks Randy. I've had anywhere from 1 to 3 cats in my home for the last 40 years, so I know what you're talking about.

Time spent with a cat is never wasted. Absolutely fascinating creatures. Nice shot Bob.

Looks like the expression I've gotten from Sable, Pewter, Popcorn, Walnut, and Banjo . From 1962 to the present we've had two to four cats as well a one to two dogs. One of the cats always has chosen me as his or her person to whom being grafted would the life-long aim. Can't imagine life without a personal cat!
