Since you and Pilot 6 are the only ones having a problem, maybe you should compare notes via PM.

There may be something you are both using that is not mainstream, like using Linux, a different operating system or some unusual browser.

Over your head does not mean it isn't worth public discussion.

It's not a question of something being over anyone's head.

Are you using something other than Windows - something other than Internet Explorer or Chrome? A home-made CPU?

You are saying we shouldn't discuss anything you can't grok and/or have an interest in. It makes no difference if it applies to you in any way. Read a different thread if this one isn't of interest.

No, I am saying that we would be interested in knowing what the two of you might have in common that could contribute to your problems.

What is your operating system? Your browser? Your image viewing software? Your hardware?

Something about the two of you appears to be different from everyone else. We do not have your issues and would like to avoid them.

Then don't be so absurd as to suggest we take it to PM.

Stop being obstructive; patiently read what those who have some background are saying and don't pester everyone with frivolous distractions.

You have not answered my questions. I only suggested that you confer via PM in case these questions embarrass you.

What is your hardware, operating system, browser and the software you use to view the JPEG?

Is any of it different from what everyone else is using? We are not having trouble with the file.

There must be something you are doing that is different.

There is no need to get defensive. No offence is intended. I am just curious.

You are just being obstructive. Take it to email. With somebody else... :-)

What a character isn't he? Now why wouldn't he answer you questions? Everyone else would provide the answer no questions asked. Because mr snap shooter is never wrong. I'd move on - he is a waste of time.

I hide behind multiple decades of professional experience trouble shooting packet data transmission systems utilizing terrestrial microwave and fiber optics, submarine fiber optic, and satellite transmission links. The significance of latency was pointed out earlier.

Your "questions" are pointless obstruction. For example you know full well that I use Linux. You should also know full well that the entire Internet literally runs on Linux. It isn't the "odd" OS in this situation. But what is your point in asking? :-)

Not everyone knows that. Why have you been hiding it? It may be part of your problem - not mainstream. Sounds like your issues are not common to the rest of us.

All of the stuff the rest of use gets tested to death using mainstream operating systems and software. There are more than 3 billion of us.

There may not be enough Linux users around to get to the bottom of your issues.

Thanks for that information. I suspected that you might also be a non-Windows user since those of us who use Windows are not seeing this particular problem.

There is nothing wrong with using a Mac system and Safari. Those of us that use Windows and IE or Chrome have our own problems that you do not suffer with. Our heads can also swim.
