Dorothy I have told you before Yves said to me " you are talented George in that you manage to wear your clothes rather than allow your clothes to wear you".

Hmmmm What did he say about the sandals George?

I'm sure one could suggest several unflattering captions for this one. As far as your image goes I like that you have dropped us into a situation where we can only wonder, "what in the heck are they talking about?"

You have the ability through your lens to drop us into personal situations. I like it.

Hmm I suspect you may have inadvertently produced some senior porn here my friend. Upward thrusting lamposts, and strong firm cylinders supporting the bench, obviously symbolic. And the body language... he with his legs spread suggestively and she with her coquettish legs-crossed position. But the longing sunglass shaded glances give it all away. Gives a whole new meaning to 'Fifty shades of Grey.' Or could it be that I am reading too much into the pic?

Oh yes the pic itself, I do like it because of its normal everyday ordinariness, it just works. But I do wonder at the conversation that produced those two delightful facial expressions.

What a wonderful photo!!! I agree that one of your special talents is to bring the viewer within the intimacy of a strangers' conversation. Seems like we're a fly on the sidewalk in front of them!!! And I especially like that you asked them to dress in complementary fashion! :-D
(I wonder if deleting the 2 light poles would improve the image. Maybe not necessary. If the photo were taken at twilight, the light from the poles might be necessary and add to the atmosphere. Since this is taken during the day, I wonder if the image would be improved without them. Too nitpicky, I feel embarrassed to say, to mention.)

I can imagine a bunch of very unpleasant captions for this one, having nothing to do with the quality of the image. First one-heres looking at you kid.

I just find the human animal fascinating Dennis and even when they are doing not much in particular they can be interesting ala George and Dorothy.

Thank you for your kind words my friend

As a confirmed and addicted people watcher I love to record these gentle images and like you imagine the conversations.
Ill leave the senior porn angle in your very capable hands!
Has anybody tried to read 50 Shades of Grey? I managed 50 pages of the first book of the tri-ology. Boring and mundane is all I can say.

I certainly like this image; but I would crop it a bit tighter on the left. I don't really need to see the houses in the background and it might have more impact with a tighter crop. The subjects are priceless. I can sit and wonder about what they are saying for a long time and not get bored. Another success.

Hya Erich your probably correct about the crop as Edie is about the posts both options were considered at length. The place this was taken, Stratford upon Avon is one of my favorite British towns. The birthplace of William Shakespeare. I was having a quite magical two days there and was just not able to take anything away from what I had seen.
Strange I know but just indulge me my friend.
