I was out and about today and captured this shot on a University campus. I cropped slightly and applied light PP. I see alot of repeating shapes between the solar panals and the buildings. Comments welcome.

Hi Debbie. It is very difficult to give you any feedback because it is impossible to pick up any detail with your pic this size. Any chance you could repost and remember to tick the 'store original' box so we could have a decent look at it.

Most buildings contain mainly square type shapes and solar panels follow the same lines. Is that what your trying to convey?
Actually like your PP from what one can see on a thumbnail its reminiscent of a comic book. A nice touch I thought. Nik filters?
But after that the image is rather flat and lacks interest.

Thank you for your comments. I really thought that I had tapped the 'stored original' . I used a Picassa filter since I am still learning to be proficient on PS. The look that I was going for was somewhat 'retro' with a futuristic subject: Solar Power. I always loved the covers of Sci-Fi novels from the 50's,60's and 70's.
I showed the photo to someone in my household and they felt that it lacked luster also. I wouldn't go out and take a bunch of photos with the sole intent of applying filters to them, but I couldn't resist it with this one precisely because it didn't have the original WoW factor. With that, I'm not sure if I should repost, Conkerwood. I think I'll call it a day with this photo.

The idea of this photo has real potential for a modernistic, spare photo. I really like the framing and the pattern repetition. I hope we see another version of this perspective. You caught a very interesting composition!
