Walking through the woods with camera in hand, I came across this old tree stump discarded by nature amongst the leaf and branch clutter and wondered is this nature's plan? I submit that it is certainly part of the overall plan to attempt to rejuvenate the planet. As the stump and leaves decay, they feed the minute creatures such as termites, carpenter ants, and finally the earthworms to replenish the soil and start the cycle of growth and decay all over again. I hope that I've portrayed that feeling in this capture. Please try the download.
The download is good. The photo certainly works for your vision of it. Thought provoking.
Jim, the download makes all the difference in the world. Wonderful treatment to this shot. Mother Nature really does know her recycling.

Jim,
A strong, highly effective...and affective...image. The toning and explicit vignette productively add to the impact.
"Thought-provoking" is an understatement.
Congratulations. You have accomplished your goal.
