This showed up on my computer this morning:
"Lightroom CC/6 Update November 2015. This release includes support for new cameras and lenses, along with bug fixes for both Lightroom CC and Lightroom 6 issues. The release also reverts to the classic import experience. "
Yep, looks good to have the old options back where they belong ;)
So, the big question ...... has anyone already installed this update and confirm that the old Import Module has been restored?

Yes indeed to both questions. Have not actually imported yet, but the old screen, settings and options appear to be there as before.

Yes. I used the Adobe Creative Cloud updater app. It was quick, smooth and without flaws .... so far!
Even the check box for "Eject After Import" is there.
What seems to not be there (that I though would be) is a choice between the new for beginners Import mode and the traditional import mode. Maybe Adobe is going to work harder at teaching newbies how to import the old fashioned way.
For those of you that have already installed it, do you happen to know if the option to import suspected duplicates has been reinstated?

The option to import or not import suspected dupes was in the new screen, but yes, the old screen will skip them or import them as it did before...
