I was very fortunate one day to see this pair of Red Shoulders fly into a tree by my house with a lot of screeching & flapping about then proceed to mate!. Unfortunately I had to run into the house & grab my camera & get set. While I was still getting the camera ready the deed was accomplished & I missed it! Man they are quick! LOL...but at least I can say I have observed them & state I am not a voyeur!
I took a few pics before they recuperated & flew off. I was using my point& shoot SX700HS & it came out to F/6.9, 1/250 sec. ISO 200, at 135mm Zoom. I had to quickly take these shots braced over the back of my truck in the drive way & I know there are faults in the focus & composition but I just enjoy these pictures.. Hope you do too.
Comments appreciated as always.
