Let's be honest neither the Republicans nor the Democrats are debating.
If anything these presentations are more like public job interviews.
Tonight's interview pretty much showed the similarities between the candidates. Bernie's funding without super pacs seems to be his most shining quality.

Thing I like best about Bernie is the outrage he provokes on the dying old men on this board...reading the posts that attack the Democrats on this board is better than binge-watching Netflix...sheer entertainment as the befuddled strive to remain relevant in the world that couldn't care less about their existence let alone their thoughts.

The debates, both sides, remind me of the show "Golden Girls". Nothing but sitting on a couch throwing barbs and quips at one another.

The Democrats have the luxury of having only 3 candidates on stage. They can converse and actually discuss topics whereas the Republicans have too many people on stage competing for airtime. Also, the FUD they are pitching isn't selling with the American v**er this time around. Trump with his Operation Wetback 2.0 plan is just plain embarrassing.

You may have stumbled onto something here. We could do a litmus test and see, possibly show these clowns, how important this crap is. Schedule the next debates during Sunday Night Football. Have both the Dems and the Reps and football on at the same time. It'd be interesting to see the viewer numbers on that one.

As for having the debate on Saturday night? I think the real reason is they did not want anyone to see the debate. Would you if you were them?
