Looks like a shy prelude to hand-holding...
He should have just...aster!

Lighting and processing too harsh for me, Frank. Sorry.

And I strongly disagree with your title/comment; however I'm not in the mood to argue :)

I'm rarely in a mood to argue....thought it might spur a bit of discussion. Yes a little over done. Thank you for taking time.

Frank it may not be your best work. But I do like how very sharp the flowers are in this shot.

I like the composition - the two blossoms create a strong diagonal.

Generally, I prefer flowers portrayed as soft, gentle and delicate. In that sense, I have to agree with Linda; the lighting and processing is very harsh, and the flowers look about as pleasing to touch as barbed wire laced with corrosive acid. The presence of the bee doesn't exactly help either. But perhaps that was your intention.

I guess vivid was more the intent. The flowers themselves along with the bee at the time didn’t feel very gentle or delicate. I appreciate the feedback 2c4 and am glad I was able to score on composition.

You had me stumped at first Dave, but after some conversation I understand now. You have a gifted view thanks for comment.

This is very nice. I like the way the two flowers interact with each other. Don't mind that it is slightly cut off at the top and on the side. It is obvious that this was done on purpose and not by accident. Great colors and very fine detail. It all works together. Well done.

Nice idea with the framing and or crop but maybe a bit harsh on the sliders for flowers.
Just a picture yep that's all they. Absolutely nothing more. Generally stored on a hard drive and forgotten about. When the grim reaper calls ya the grandkids wipe the hard drive to replace your years of effort with whatever.
Oh its a tough life as snapper we all have chosen!!

I think its too harsh and contrasty for a flower picture. The bug is a real distraction. As soon as I noticed it I started trying to figure out which end was which, and that was the end of looking at the flowers.

Forgotten I'm sure, but maybe they'll live in the cloud forever.
