I have some exciting news, I received an email about a week ago from Darrel Young....the author of the Mastering the Nikon series of books.
He has chosen one of my photos to be published in his new book, Mastering the D7200.
It's the first time one of my photos is being published ! 8-)

Excellent news, can you explain your contract? Normally in a book or print deal you license the use of your photo for a run in a language. Say 50,000 copies in English. In this way if the book gets translated to another language they come back for another license. Or if the book is popular and sells out, they have to do another print and they come to you for another license.
So I'm curious whats the number on the first run, and how much you made? If you don't mind sharing.

I can see why he would want to use that photo. Congratulations!!! It's a great feeling to be asked to have your photograph for publication.
