Recently I picked up a ND 10 stop filter from B+W. Had a go at a long 175 second exposure. From what I see, the clouds were stretched and the water smoothed out.

Though I've not yet done a side by side comparison with this to a short duration shot, I think the saturation is deeper as well.

That is a great shot - I really like it. I too have a 10 stop ND and use it a lot.

Beautiful. The stretched clouds fill the sky perfectly and the color saturation is excellent.
