It makes no difference. You are dealing with hand/eye coordination when a use a pen, a paintbrush, whatever. Using a computer you add with screen/eye/hand coordination. Hence the ergonomic problem and reject. Notice that the hand/eye is reverted too.

So, no difference hey?

That does mean it is not feasible, far from it. It just take a different learning that is not for everyone.

Compare it to trying to reproduce something that you look at when you hand is enclosed in a black box.
It makes no difference. You are dealing with hand... (show quote)

Why do you jump into a binary (yes / no) conclusion right away.
Did I say the pen in a graphics tablet is a replacement of an actual pen?
Did I say the tablet is great for all of us?
I think you need to read posts, take a long breath, pause for 30 seconds and then write your response.

Your successive posts imply that the screen/eye/hand coordination is natural. It is not.

Simple?

And that is... what exactly? A praise?

You need to review your own post. I would not have reacted had you not posted this rather vindictive post that implies that folks are really stupid not to be able to adapt.

As to your successive answers they are getting more and more aggressive for no reason.

Well, this was not me writing:

Again, mr., you are way too quickly to react. Mixing various responses.

Never mind...
Happy day, enjoy your life.

No problems sir :-)
Just patience please...
Just to let you know, I have the Wacom intuos pro medium tablet. I would like to use some of its features for photoshop / lightroom post processing. I am not there yet. But it has nice features set. I can use it nicely as a mouse replacement.

It is always great to see small minds think alike.

Ergonomic? ffft who cares
Different eye/hand coordination? ffft who cares
Treating those who cannot adapt for any reason as idiots? ffft who cares

Mine is a Huion h610 + model and it works well when I use it. Most seem to like a genuine Wacom tablet and will say it is the best. Reality, they're all pretty good.
....

Me personally, I say to get an entry model tablet first. Get used to it and see if you really like it. Then either go for more or not.

I agree that entry level trial makes sense and the Huion 610 pro works well for me (77 USD)

I am considering using a Wacom board for my LR cc pp. I don't know anything about it Can anyone help with pros and cons and product recommendations

Thanks
Joe

My only recommendation for the Wacom is to watch the lessons on lynda.com. Very good. They offer a week for free. If you want to continue, you pay $25 for a month of complete access. I sign up for a month, watch everything I can, and then try to digest it.

I'll tell you, I have a Wacom Intous Pro Medium. It did take about a month before I loved it, for photo editing there is no way in the world you can get as accurate with a mouse. But I went even farther, this tablet has replaced my mouse full time. From 1980's to 2012 I used a mouse, in 2012 I got used to the Intous Pro and have not looked back. I like it so much I also bought a Intous Pro small to travel with. Even though I have two monitors I sometimes think the Medium is too large. I could use the small and work both monitors fine, but I do like having the two extra side buttons on the medium.

I agree that the Centique is very expensive and have never used one.

There is an app in the App Store called Astropad for iPhone and iPad which is worth looking into

Really what has this app got to do with editing photos on a computer?

If you are a serious photographer/designer look into the Wacom Cintiq 22HD. There is a bit of a learning curve, but you work directly on the screen which also spins, just as if you were drawing on a piece of paper. It is truly designed for the professional and advanced amateur. It may not be what you are after, but it's certainly worth a look, if for nothing else than to familiarize yourself with what is out there.

I looked into the Cintiq and decided that it was a bit too pricey. I settled on one of the smallest wacom tablet. It works fine both at home and when on the road.
