Seeing was pretty good.

Beautiful Jim!

Glad you found your pack up and play!

I could get my tracking on Orion Nebula tonight. PHD just wanted to go bonkers with it.
So I moved on.
Now I'm tearing down...
But it was a great night here!

Very nice job Jim. The Trapezium group of Stars are great.

I have to "WOW" the trap is great , what's your shooting sequence. how many sec for the Trapezium and how many for the nebulosity and how much binning did you do? Questions questions questions

Beautiful capture of the core and it seems you have your mount dialed in quite well. I have the same scope and know how difficult it can be tracking cleanly over 30s with that sail on its back.

Thanks Craig. It was tracking pretty well and I tweaked the weight just a quarter of an inch to clean it up a bit more. It's diffinately a different animal than I am used to. I feel more comfort with the SCT's but this is easier to see what I am shooting.

Uh I only shot single shots and tweaked in Lightroom.
Thank you very much. I guess I should learn to work more with layers.

As I mentioned in my post to Craig, I tweak my balance once I get a few shots in to get the tracking even closer. Celestron has it buried in the manual but it really helps. I would like to get the Trap dialed in a little bit sharper. This is my first effort with this scope doo have some getting used to quirk wise.

Also when I stacked the first shot, I only loaded in the shots and took the defaults. I didn't shoot any differently for the shots that I stacked and didn't do any special processing before stacking. This was totally an experiment with a new feature in the online Lightroom.

You and me both Sonny. You are ahead of me on the tracking curve though.
The only tracking I do is in the desert looking for lunch..

This was supposed to be on my shot of the Andromeda that I posted. I don't know how it locked here.
