Peel off as gently as you can. Unfortunately, they are designed to read a signal, but not to be removed easily.

You've probably figured this out hy now...

A little bit of baby lotion or baby oil worked in up under the edge of the EKG pad will help ease the adhesive.

If left alone, the pad will eventually fall off by itself, the outer layer of skin will eventually slough off.

Just for clarification, and to save possible issues in the near future, did they leave them on for any particular reason, like they may need to hook an EKG machine up again?

If not, a bit of alcohol will probably loosen the adhesive, then keep putting a bit more on as you gently peal the pads off.

Not fun at all, but at least a baby has no chest hair. On a guy with full shrubbery getting them off is pure hell.

As one other has said I have had some medical personal remove those with alcohol on a gauze pad. As you use the gauze pad allow a little time between swiping at the sticker to allow the alcohol soaked gauze to release the adhesive a little at a time.

Be very careful a baby's skin is very tender and can tear easily.

I think baby oil would be a wiser choice for a baby than alcohol.

Why not call the doctor or the hospital and ask their advice?
