Yep. But on mine it goes to a second screen where my serial number is already added so it's just a quick click to get into the program.

... that's what mines does too.
Guess they'll fix it with an update.
Thanks Bob.

Bob,
Same on mine. It is slightly annoying, but if that is the only glitch, I can certainly live with it! On1 did a pretty good job with their new Photo 10 upgrade program. I am still learning it, and use photoshop as my main workflow program, but expect I may be using it more in the future.
The 5 user/computer license is a definite positive feature which I think other software programs should jump on the band wagon and follow.
Best Regards,
Tom
Glad to know I'm not the only one
Put my serial # in, activated it and was good to go, no issues. Thankfully.

I contacted them and they emailed me a link to a version that doesn't do that. I also asked if constantly re-registering would cause problems for the extra licenses that are not yet installed and they said no, that the license is connected to particular computer and you can click that "register" button as many times as you want, as long as it's on that particular computer, and it won't cause any problems for the other licenses.

Yes. Here is what customer support told me to do and it fixed the problem.
Hello Robert,
Run through this fix and it should resolve the issue:
1. download the installer again right click on the installer and choose Run as the Administrator.
2. Once the program has installed. Right click on the application icon and choose Properties. Under the compatibility tab check the box that says always Run program as the Administrator.
3. Launch ON1 Photo 10. Activate the program normally
Here are the download links for the installers:
