Heights, bet you get sweaty palms from this one GASP.
Not my kind of work. I am glad though that there are people who do it.
Thank you, was just imagine doing that in the winter when everything is covered in ice.
It was scary! I couldn't watch the whole thing as it made me nauseous and my lower legs turn to jelly.
Looks like fun. Just carry a parachute also.
I wonder if they can get life insurance.

I thought it was funny that the narrator said they had to check for lightning. So, if they see lightning, what's the chance of them climbing down before it strikes. I guess that's when the parachute would come in handy.
I don't even want to know how much that costs.

Those are some T A L L towers. We have two sets of towers here in SC that are 2,000 FT tall. Back in my flying days I stayed well clear of them. Not just the towers you had to clear, but the guy wires, even more dangerous because much harder to see, especially on hazy days. I have an 80 FT ham radio tower (Rohn 25) in my yard that gives me the willys when climbing - ha ha - and I ALWAYS wear my safety harness!
There's gotta be easier ways to change a lightbulb, doncha think?
Gets to the base of the antenna, "just 60 more feet!"
You have to be in some fantastic physical condition to do that safely.

Glad I am not the only one not to watch till the end, scary just watching.....
Not sure there's enough money in the world to get me to climb it. Just kidding. Let me wear a 'chute and.......
I do know they get paid by the foot. So, the higher the better. :D
Sorry, I couldn't make it to the end of this one. Made me too queasy just watching it. There isn't enough money in the world to get me up there.
