Did you buy one of those huge Pixima 10 Printers?

If you were surprised by the sized of the Pixima 10 printer that was on sale for $50, and can't really find the space in your office, I'd love to purchase it from you. I missed the sale and I'm kicking myself now for not jumping when I had the chance. So if you are interested just let me know and we can figure it out.
Thanks, Greg

Not selling mine, but perhaps you meant the Pixma 100. I don't believe the 10 would be available at that price, it's presently $450 and that's after a $250 rebate.

Unfortunately they were on sale for three days at that price. I missed it and when I went online last night at around 11 I started kicking myself for not jumping on it when I had the chance.

gregm, The printer I believe you are referring to was a promotion from Adorama. With a 60 lb ship weight my cost to UPS it back to Adorama is like $90.00.

Keep your eye out for more promotions looks to be a great printer at any value.

I also looked at the printer, however, what kept me from it was the advertising. It was advertised at $49.99, a great price! However, you had to pay $399.99 and wait for a rebate, in the form of a visa for $250.00. Sorry, but I personally find that kind of advertising offensive.

The rebate comes from the manufacture. I too wish it was simpler. But that is how things are now. I am 72 and a marketer. I understand how it works. I was thanked by ADORAMA for past business. Thanks. I had the option of using credit/debit or PayPal six month to pay. I find that they offer much leverage and I gain pontes with the plastic.

Guess you missed this, it's free here after rebate.

If you follow the link you posted, you'll see that it's not anywhere near "free". It's $149.00 after the rebate. Says it's $399 with a $250 rebate.

Still, it is a huge printer certainly worth more than $50, I got one when I purchased my 6D last December, I had to wait for the rebates from Canon ($650) but they came, overall I felt like I got a really great deal.

I agree. I am glad to see that I am not alone.
