I have a chance to purchase a d4s with 47k actuations for $2500. Is that sound too good to be true, it's located in UK and I'm in US. Does PayPal protect international purchase?
Thanks,

Be careful if it is ebay. How will you know this deal is real? Do you know who you are dealing with. I lost one of my D800's on an ebay scam deal. Insurance wouldn't pay for it. ebay my problem. That said condition of camera and the fact it is international is concerning. I vote no. Good luck

I don't think Nikon will honor the warranty on that camera because it's not a U.S. Model.

No Nikon warranty on used cameras - only refurbished.

Yes, that does sound too good to be true, but maybe the owner isn't looking for maximum income. On ebay, they have sold for $3,800 to over $6,000. This link shows what they actually sold for.

It sounds "way too good" to be true. There are smart photographers in the UK. If it was a good deal it would be gone by now.

Stay away from an international sale that is too good to be true.

If it sounds too good to be true, it most likely isn't true. Nuff said!

Jerry,

You're right. Nikon doesn't cover warranties on used cameras. I would stay away from this deal.
