Tycho in all its "Glory"

The Tycho crater is a 89km impact, can you imagine the impact?BW 8 newt. lxd55/ mod. lx200 SFT/ Levenhuk T510NG 18mm equiv. color telescope cam and a 3x telenegative barlow. You gotta love the moon, it's so fascinating and a real treat to image

We'll never know for sure, but some say a meteor strike was what dun in the dinosaurs.
When a rock, hits a rock, at high speed, there is going to be a mark.

I always love the Tycho Crater it's such a classic, nice job Stepping.

Thanks Buddy, I just love to see what detail I can pull from the moonscape. The brighter phases "really challenges me" and it almost always seems to win in the battle of focus.
