the jacket was red in this shot
smooth out skin

I don't personally care for #1 with the lines on her face but the picture is very clear and good. Thanks for sharing.

I like the 2nd one a lot. The first one looks like it belongs in a horror film because of the broken mirror...as if something evil is going to happen. You asked. ;)
Thank you Joe. I my self thought the grack wall was a bit much but I was trying to do something different and thats all I came up with...
LMAO.... I did not think of that but thats good looking out thank u J
I like number two, though something looks off; you may have a little camera blur. Number one has a "deer in the headlights" feeling to me. Though I like the background on number three, it seems blurry.

1. The eyes are overdone, too white. Skin looks too dark to me.
2. For me, too soft focus
3. Not a fan of selective focus with this one.

All three are well thought out. It would be difficult to pick one over the other.
Creativity and innovation are some of the main things it is all about.
Keep up the good work.
Thank you Snowbear for your input. However it gives me more things to consider and more areas to work on in my quest of trying to be good.
Thank you Mr.Pat for your feed back these are some more things I have to consider as I ease on my way to be a good photographer.

We'll forget about exposure, lighting and pose and concentrate on what I believe was the reason you put these here. You took shots and then wanted to manipulate them, which you did and did nicely. You can't see any lines around the head etc. so you did a good job there of cutting out and putting in a different back ground and effect on the images.
So for me, you did well for your attempts at altering the reality of each shot. Now you need to work on what makes sense and what fits an image, making it better, compared to just using the tools at hand randomly.
It is a bit like someone posting images with a new set of filters he just bought. The common mistake is to use every effect on all the images. If that is what you wish to show that is what you have achieved. However, if you wish to show what you have achieved with a set of filters but being selective of what filter you used and in what way you chose to use it, then that is the start of the learning process.
For me, you are off to a good start, now learn when and how to use these techniques and with which images it would best be suited for such manipulation.
