Sony Alpha A65 Water housings

Hey guys I am a surf photographer looking to start shooting more from the water with my sony a65 and I was wondering if any of you know of a reliable waterhousing for this camera other than the Ikelite one and, or is the Ikelite one reliable for work in surf or just dive photography?

Hi jbgilmanphotography: I don't know anything about underwater photography, but it seems logical to my that if the Ikelite is reliable for underwater photography it would work just as well for surf photography. Maybe I'm wrong. Why don't you research the Ikelite and see if they have more information on it or contact B&H or KEH, or maybe even a dive shop. I'm sure you'll have some answeres here at the UHH too. Good luck in your search.

Whatever you get, remember it is not IF but WHEN it will flood! I've shot underwater for years & yes, it happens, but the results & fun are worth the risk.
