OK.. I have the Yongnuo YN-622NTX Flash Controller, 2-YN622N Transceivers and 2 YN568EX Flash Units. Camera is a D750.
I set the units and controller for Channel A Group A. I set the flashes for the same. I attach the flashes to the transceivers and attach to the hot shoe on stand. When I do that the channel and group information changes to the camera mount icon in the display of the flash. They to not flash correctly. Like they are out of sync. It's like it flashes first then the shutter goes off. I can't change the setting back to Channel/Groups while on the hot shoe.
I did try the flashes without the units and just did the commander mode with the pop up flash in the camera and everything flashes great. In sync...Hope I am making sense. The documentation is not that great.
Anyone else experience this ??? Any help would be appreciated. I tried searching before posting but did not find anything resembling the issue. I tried you tube as well.. Thanks in advance.. Connie

I maybe "WAY OFF LINE HERE"...but is your camera set to 1st or 2nd curtain synch?
That was only a WAG, so you know. Thanks, Boone
What flash settings do you have selected on the camera? TTL or manual? Might be a pre-flash issue.

I have it set to TTL
I use the Canon version of those Yongnuo controller and transceivers. When I first tried them out, they were behaving oddly, though not in exactly the same manner that you are describing. I discovered that the flash units were not properly mounted in the transceivers. I'd push the flash into the slot, and think they were in all the way, but they weren't. I had to push a little bit harder. Once I had that figured out, everything worked fine.

Thank you. Will ck it out
I use D7100 and nikon flashes. When using the Yongnuo trigger controller and triggers set the flashes to TTL and control flash power/groups from the YN622n-TX. Set the controller YN622nTX on camera hot shoe.

I love reading about other photographers problems. Some really make me think! Some bring up things I never realized.
The 1st, 2nd curtain settings may have been my problem a few years back as I remember having the same flash delimma. (Used flashes on my backup camera for awhile and the "bad one" seemed to fix it self afterwards.)
(I'm only human! LoL)
I'll have to check that out! Thanks!

It is good to look at the problems others have.
I only have one Yongnuo flash, YN560 VI.
I merely use mine as a slave, flash triggered, and enjoy it immensely.
I use mine mostly as a bounced flash, and my on camera flash triggers it very reliably. And happily, the others around me using their IPhones, don't trigger mine.
It's been a real joy for the times I have used it.
I also have used it hot shoe, and bracket mounted.
The YN560 VI is also a command type flash. So it can be used to command other Yongnuo units. (If I ever find the need for more... )
So far, very happy with mine.
Bearwitme..I had the same experience when I got my 622s on a D7100. But even though it seemed there was a delay with the flash going off, the pictures were properly exposed and all was well! Are your images coming out ok or not? If not, then, as others have suggested, check your curtain sync settings, and that the trigger and flash are seated properly. All the best.

Thanks for your response...Curtain is default of front, and they are seated properly. I took them off and made sure that they were seated all the way into the shoe..I need to play a little more I guess and see how shots are looking. Going to play a bit more this weekend. Hard during the work week..
