Great shot!

And I found Mercury rising, too.

I see something faint just to the left of the mountain that might be Mercury. Actually, Mercury reached its highest elevation on Oct 16th and has been moving downward ever since. I did see Mercury on the 18th and it was still bright and high enough to easily see while the sky was still rather dark. As it moves lower, it is moving closer to the suns glare and as I can see in your image, it is just prior to sunrise. So it is still possible that you spotted Mercury.

Great shot Steve, it's a beauty all right.
At that point in time I would believe that is Mercury.

I think it is, Jim It correlated with the time in 'Star walk' for Mercury to rise. The early morning lineup has been very interesting over the past couple of weeks and fun to try and image , Thanks for looking in

Just enough clouds to make Seeing very difficult.
