Best interest for the NFL. New England has lots of records and c***ting is just one of them. There was enough evidence to convict but I feel that the issue was handled by a judge that did not base the outcome on the facts. The players union backed the decision, do you wonder why? Even with instant replay they now have to wait and go to New York for calls to be made that should be made on the field. When the referees loose control and the commissioner's rulings mean nothing the NFL will suffer. I wonder how many owners are backing the commissioner's decision.
