Wyman Meinzer graduated from Texas Tech. When he graduated, he moved back to a ranch near Benjamin so he could begin his photography.
He lived in a dugout for a few months, to be in the middle of the roadrunners, coyotes, and snakes. Tremendous work.
If you're from Texas and love the outdoors....this will stir your heart! If not from Texas , you will still love the pictures.

just wow to the nth degree!!! gorgeous landscapes, wonderfull wildlife, longhorn cattle and best of all COWBOYS!!! makes we want to pick up and move to west texas.

Wyman Meinzer also offered some field classes, I am not sure the classes are still on the menu. He has produced several books that contain his work. I have a few and he is indeed good at what he does. As far as I know Mr. Meinzer is the only official photographer for the State of Texas.
