Gal spiders here need full frame I only shoot cropped sensor. Im not saying the spiders are big but my last house spider took 3 stomps from a trainer shod size 11 and still tried to crawl away on one mangled leg. Last seen being fitted with prosthetics so he can no doubt return and scare the crap outta me

Billy this is a nice altar but the image itself is not as exciting as other similar shots you've shared. The details don't jump out like they usually do.

And where are our allegorical animal friends?

How do I make an altar exciting min. I agree with your opinion but what does one do with it?

And did you miss the cat? It seemed disrespectful somehow to include all the gang. Im not catholic but Mrs Billy and her family are so I have to be aware of their feelings. The grim reaper behind the altar would not go down well so kitty got a a look in but no one else.

Found her! Thanks, I feel much better now.

Color! Subtle but rich colors in smooth highly polished golden tones with enough true blacks in the shadows...

You are right about Reaper not fitting in, but that Dove might...

I'd go with color. Its just not exciting in B/W.
Here's an idea. PP in color, go to Nik and use the midnight filter. Move the brightness to 100% and the blur to 10%. Mess with the shadows and highlite sliders. Finish with glamour glow. Start at 100% and back off some. Use the control points to subtract some of the GG filter.

I have Nik and am a fan but scarce user of Glamour Glow so will try your suggestion young Dennis tonite. Thank you my man for taking the trouble to suggest the improvements. Much appreciated.
