Recently, I finally bought a smart cellular telephone running the Android system.
I'm looking for an app that will do GPS data logging for tagging photographs.
I will appreciate suggestions and recommendations for an app.

I've used GeoTag for the Android in the past and it worked very well. Just keep in mind that if you're out all day your battery will be eaten up quicker than normal. It requires GPS to be enabled on your phone while logging.

My only complaint is the full install of java (Windows) and its annoying reminders of updates.

Thank you. I do go out all day while shooting landscape. Battery life counts.
I suppose if it became a limitation, then I could buy one of those auxiliary battery packs for recharging the phone battery.

Another vote for GeoTag.
For recharging your phone check out the Anker stuff. Looks really promising with good pricing. If I ever get back on my feet financially, I will definitely be picking up a few of their products.

Makes sense. I carry a spare battery for my camera.
