I found about a dozen Bison in a pasture near Grove Ok. This one kindly posed for me.

Thanks.... You just never know what you're going to see on the road... I wound up having to shoot into the setting sun. Fortunately my wife 'called' them over to the fence by the Caboose. She made this noise that she called a Buffalo call... Sounded more like a romantically inclined elk to me but it actually got their attention!

If you are in the area again and get a chance I really recommend a drive to the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel located in Bella Vista, Arkansas. I think It's a little less than an hours drive from Grove and well worth the time. (If you haven't already) (open 9-5, M-Sat.)

I can do that. I am in the Bella Vista area often because my dad lives in Anderson, MO so I pass through Bella Vista on my way to visit him a couple of times a month. I have taken numerous photos in the Bella Vista area.
