I purchased this unit a few weeks ago direct from Canon for $149.95. Took about 10 pictures to test it. Looks/works perfect.

You can have it for the same price plus Priority Shipping.

Everything is included.

Since you've owned this well-regarded camera for only "a few weeks" it does not seem out of line to ask why you wish to sell it? Now that it is used (again), however briefly that may have been, you might expect to recoup (generously) 80% of your original outlay or about $119. I own an SX50HS myself, so I know it's a pretty good little camera - worth hanging on to. Suggest you consider keeping it as a good quality spare.

I appreciate your concerns. however, this IS a refurbed unit at the lowest price. No way will I lose $$$. If you are interested in a refurbed unit, you can wait until Canon has more at $149.00. I was just being kind and wanted to pass on the savings. If it doesn't sell here, in the next 2 days, it is going back to Canon for a full refund.

Why selling it? Once in a while my wife notices a bird that is too far away. So I thought I'd get one and take those shots for her. Unfortunately I am way too used to my EM-1 so I am buying the Olympus 40-150 2.8 instead and just crop.

So you're saying that you are selling the perfectly good 1,200mm camera AND lens that you bought for $150, and buying a much heavier 300mm lens sans camera for $1,400 - oh yeah, I can see how that makes sense.

Is it ok if I spend my money the way I want to? Who are you to tell me what works for me.

RJ Wallace you and that SX50 are both showoffs.... I have said befor that such moon shots of quality like yours should only be allowed by those who use DSLR $2000 plus cameras with $1500 lenses.

I have refrained from being a sadist and showing the capabilities of my SX50 for fear of driving some DSLR owners into deep depression... perhaps to the point of smashing that heavy gear like the back pack on my closet top shelf.

There is also a Hack for the firm ware that temporarly opens up new vistas for SX50. Google Canon Hack and read and read. Also good you tube demos....

I decided instead of buying the SX50 and having another camera to carry I'd buy a 70-300mm lens. And my camera has a larger sensor.

This is the reason these classified ads need to be locked. Only reply by PM. He has to put some kind of BullSh$t comments, on almost every listing. Why is that? Sorry to further hi-jack your listing, but this idiot just chaps my a$$.
