For a couple of weeks, every time I start Windows Live Mail, a window pops up telling me to protect my account info by signing in again. Signing in again doesn't stop that pop-up, so I ignore it.
For the past few days, when I exit my email, a window pops up asking me if I want to send the mail in my Outbox. I don't have an Outbox. Clicking Yes or No makes no difference. The window keeps popping up.
Just now, I lost all my contacts. Clicking on Contacts shows nothing but blank space. When I start to type someone's name in the To part of the email, it doesn't fill in the rest of the name. I'll have to reload my contacts from my backups.
Wouldn't it be nice if computers worked right? :D
When Windows 10 liquidated my Eudora Email I got OE Classic (outlook express). It's FREE but a paid version is available.
It works perfect and although I had to manually re-enter my emails, etc., it is working great and now similar to using Eurdora.

I use yahoo mail. Been using it for ages. Transfers easily from an 'old' computer to a 'new' one, works just fine with my smart phone, heck I could even access my email from your computer shoul the need arrise.
YMMV of course
