Excellent focusing. Right on the mark. These ones are really good.

Thank you Jim. I was trying to show just how well this lens works and how little it takes to perk it up so to speak.
At 960mm on the crops sensor, it pulls really well all by itself. As a sidebar, I used autofocus to get it dialed in nice and tight. I find that if I autofocus 2 or 3 times, the camera makes small enough adjustments that I can get it pretty well nailed. Then I check by zooming in on a crater with peaks inside to make sure I can see them. (Live view zoom)

Nice Jim!
What I am taking away from these is that I like what Lightroom did to enhance the image.
And that auto focus is indeed useful to nail the focal point.

My mount is back, and it works. Watch out.

Thanks, only took 20 dayz. To do a component change...

Yeah, well hang out your dirty laundry, looks like you might get a rinse cycle there as well.

Oh dear, what is the drug cartels to do?
Maybe they can apply for Federal Aid...

#3, love it, love it. Great job of PP Jim.
A little tweak here and there sure makes a difference.

Thank you Craig.
Funny thing, I was reading an article about cracks on the moon and I have seen them with my 11" when the lighting is just right.
I have yet to see them when I have a camera in hand or on the mount.
That's one of my next goals and I'll just have to figure out when the right time and angle is.

What worries me is the lack of urgency of getting out of the way of the locomotive heading that way. I fear this might not turn out well.
I can handle a little bit of rinse but it's predicted to clobber Texas, not me.
Only Mother Nature knows right now.

Thank you Craig.
I like the way it came out.
You know I don't like to over cook my shots.

I know Jim but that was done with good taste.
